Every piece is handmade with care and created to order by skilled women artisans. Because your handbag begins its journey only after you choose it, our process differs from traditional ready-to-ship retail.
Free Shipping
La Mona Crafted offers free shipping to the United States, Chile, and many international destinations.
Available shipping destinations are confirmed during checkout. If your destination is available for delivery, the applicable free shipping option will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
No minimum purchase is required for eligible destinations.
Free shipping covers the cost of shipping your order. It does not include customs duties, import taxes, local fees, or other charges imposed by authorities in the destination country.
Made to Order and Creation Time
Every La Mona Crafted piece is made to order. No piece is produced as anonymous inventory; creation begins after your order has been confirmed.
The estimated creation time depends on the collection:
Poppy Classic — 2 weeks
Our essential design, created with time and intention for everyday elegance.
Poppy Atelier — 3 weeks
Limited creations and artistic exploration, where every detail requires additional time and attention.
Poppy Heritage — 4 weeks
Our highest expression of craftsmanship, created through a more personal and considered process.
These are estimated creation times and do not include shipping time. The collection lead times are documented as two weeks for Poppy Classic, three weeks for Poppy Atelier, and four weeks for Poppy Heritage.
During periods of high demand or in the event of an unexpected production delay, creation may take slightly longer. If this happens, we will contact you with an update.
Once your piece has been completed and passed our final quality review, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Free Shipping to the United States
All eligible orders delivered within the United States include free shipping.
Shipping begins after your piece has completed its made-to-order creation process and has been dispatched.
Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the destination, carrier operations, customs procedures, weather conditions, and other circumstances beyond our control.
Free Shipping Within Chile
All eligible orders delivered within Chile include free shipping.
Orders are shipped through trusted local carriers.
Estimated delivery time after dispatch is typically 3–7 business days, depending on the destination and carrier operations.
International Shipping
La Mona Crafted ships to many international destinations.
For eligible destinations, free shipping will be displayed during checkout.
International orders are dispatched only after the piece has been completed and passed our final quality review.
Estimated delivery time after dispatch typically ranges from 7–21 business days, depending on the destination, customs processing, and local carrier operations.
The availability of delivery to a particular country or region is confirmed during checkout. We reserve the right to restrict shipping to destinations that cannot be served safely, reliably, or legally by our shipping partners.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or local charges determined by the destination country.
These charges are separate from shipping and are the responsibility of the customer.
La Mona Crafted does not control these charges and cannot predict their amount. We recommend reviewing the import requirements applicable to your destination before placing your order.
Refusal to pay customs duties, taxes, or local charges may result in the shipment being delayed, returned, or abandoned. Any related costs may be deducted from an applicable refund, subject to our Refund Policy.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email.
You may use this tracking number to follow your shipment throughout its journey.
Please allow a short period for the carrier’s tracking system to update after receiving your shipping confirmation.
Creation Time and Delivery Time
Creation time and shipping time are separate.
The estimated delivery period begins only after your piece has been completed, passed our final quality review, and been handed to the shipping carrier.
Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs procedures, carrier delays, weather conditions, regional restrictions, or other events beyond our control.
Shipping Delays
While we work closely with our shipping partners, delays may occasionally occur.
If your shipment experiences an unusual delay, please contact us and we will gladly help you review the available tracking information and communicate with the carrier when possible.
La Mona Crafted is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, shipping carriers, incorrect delivery information, weather events, regional restrictions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Address Accuracy
Please ensure that your full name, shipping address, postal code, telephone number, and email address are correct before completing your order.
La Mona Crafted cannot be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, returned shipments, or additional costs resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided during checkout.
If you notice an error in your shipping information, contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been dispatched, we may not be able to change the delivery address.
Undeliverable or Returned Shipments
If an order is returned because the address was incorrect or incomplete, the recipient was unavailable, customs charges were not paid, or delivery was refused, additional shipping costs may apply before the order can be sent again.
Any refund for a returned shipment will be reviewed according to our Refund Policy and the circumstances of the return.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your order appears lost or arrives damaged, please contact us promptly at contact@lamonacrafted.com.
Include your order number, tracking information, and photographs of the package and product when applicable.
We will review the situation and assist you with the appropriate carrier process. Final resolutions may depend on the carrier’s investigation and applicable shipping coverage.
